Karen Carniello, CPA

Karen Carniello is the President and Founder of Krena Consulting which was established in 2006.  Karen has over 25 years of accounting, financial reporting and compliance experience.  Karen began her professional career in 1990 with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in New York City.  Upon relocating to Southern California, she entered the field of public accounting and gained extensive experience in the accounting, audit and tax areas.  In 1995, Karen joined her then client, LBA Realty ("LBA"), as their Controller and was instrumental in building the accounting department of LBA during her 11 years there.  Karen was responsible for supervising the financial and management reporting for all LBA portfolio properties as well as directing all corporate accounting, audit and tax matters.

Karen has experience as a Certified Public Accountant as well as serving as Controller.  Her experience in asset management, property management, corporate, broker-dealer and construction accounting allow her to have a unique perspective into various reporting needs.  This diverse background enables Karen to deliver high quality professional services to her clients.

Karen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Geneseo.  She passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountancy exam and is licensed in the state of California.
